
Steve Ellis
After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Steve worked in the motor industry for Landrover, is the CEO for Automated Workflow Group.
He joined IBM as a salesman in 1988 and spent three years working in the Small and Medium Business sector.
Steve started Notability in 1999, an IBM Business Partner specializing in mid range hardware, ECM and JD Edwards, growing revenues to £5M within twelve months.
At the end of 2000 Notability merged with Catalyst Solutions plc, a £50M IBM Business partner involved with JD Edwards, SAP and BPCS implementations, along with managed services and IBM hardware and software. The enlarged organization was rebranded Notability Solutions Ltd.
In 2002 the organization was split into separate divisions and the SAP and JD Edwards were businesses successfully sold. Steve raised money from the VC community to purchase from the other shareholders the infrastructure business in 2003.
Two years after the successful MBO, Notability was sold to Logicalis, a subsidiary of a South African listed company. Steve purchased two other companies on behalf of Logicalis and his last position was Senior Vice President of International Development.
Steve is currently managing Director of two IBM Business partner companies in the UK - Neocol specialising in the ECM space and AssurIT a managed services company.
Steve brings with him an impressive track record of effectively managing profitable companies, bringing in funding and handling acquisitions and mergers in the last decade. In short Steve has 'been there, done that'.
