Rakesh Sharma

Rakesh served as an Air Force Test Pilot for 15 years during which period, was selected for the Joint Indo-Soviet Space Mission, 1984, which culminated in an 8 day Near Earth Orbit Space Flight. Was awarded the Ashoka Chakra by the Indian Government and The Hero of The Soviet Union and The Order of Lenin by the erstwhile Soviet Government.

Was seconded to the Industry in 1987 and served as the Chief Test Pilot of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. During this period, his skills were extensively utilised on the country's prestigious Light Combat Aircraft Project and HAL's Intermediate Jet Trainer Project.

He is now the Chairman Of The Board for Automated Workflow.





Steve Ellis

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Steve worked in the motor industry for Landrover, is the CEO for Automated Workflow Group.

He joined IBM as a salesman in 1988 and spent three years working in the Small and Medium Business sector.

Steve started Notability in 1999, an IBM Business Partner specializing in mid range hardware, ECM and JD Edwards, growing revenues to £5M within twelve months.

At the end of 2000 Notability merged with Catalyst Solutions plc, a £50M IBM Business partner involved with JD Edwards, SAP and BPCS implementations, along with managed services and IBM hardware and software. The enlarged organization was rebranded Notability Solutions Ltd.

In 2002 the organization was split into separate divisions and the SAP and JD Edwards were businesses successfully sold. Steve raised money from the VC community to purchase from the other shareholders the infrastructure business in 2003.

Two years after the successful MBO, Notability was sold to Logicalis, a subsidiary of a South African listed company. Steve purchased two other companies on behalf of Logicalis and his last position was Senior Vice President of International Development.

Steve is currently managing Director of two IBM Business partner companies in the UK - Neocol specialising in the ECM space and AssurIT a managed services company.


Steve brings with him an impressive track record of effectively managing profitable companies, bringing in funding and handling acquisitions and mergers in the last decade. In short Steve has 'been there, done that'.


 


Viraf Sutaria

Viraf Sutaria, a Management graduate from Mumbai University with a degree in Economics, is the Managing Director of Automated Workflow. He was a Founder Director, pivotal to the success of Automated Workflow (AWPL) and is considered a valuable contributor to the BPM and ECM industry.

With more than 15 years of experience in ECM and BPM, Viraf is responsible for Global Operations worldwide in addition to managing the business across Asia Pacific. He has successfully managed a variety of key customer workflow, content management and records management implementations for the company. For example, Viraf was a key success factor in one of the world's largest workflow implementations at Prudential Assurance, Malaysia.

Prior to co founding AWPL, Viraf worked for Parle Exports Pvt Ltd, the leading soft drinks manufacturer in India, as a Marketing Executive. He later managed and published the 'Limca Book of Records' (similar to the Guinness Book of Records, for Indian records only), for Parles. It was one of the largest selling hardback in India in the very first year.

Viraf has also established the largest Records Management Company in India - VP Microdata Pvt Ltd for Microfilming /Scanning/Records Management Services.



Sunil Savara

Sunil Savara, one of the founders, is the Director- Strategic Alliances at Automated Workflow Group. He runs the Strategic Alliance Partner Program and is responsible for all offshore business of the company.

Sunil is a key executive team member helping to drive Automated Workflow's growth in non-linear ways. He speaks at various ECM and BPM industry events, conducts workshops on personal transformation, is a Founder Trustee of Foundation for Life, and a Charter Member at TIE.

Previously, Sunil was an IBM consultant hired to increase IBM market share in the ECM and BMP markets in India. He successfully increased sales manifold and established an IBM footprint in the Asia marketplace. Prior to this, he founded and ran for a decade Image Microforms & Systems Ltd, a Document Management & Workflow company across India, FileNet's first distributor in India.

Sunil has a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydenham College, Bombay University, having schooled at St. Xavier's High School, Bombay.

 

 


Cyrus Patel

Cyrus Patel is the Director at Automated Workflow Group. He is one of the original founders of Automated Workflow Pvt Ltd in India.

He started his career as an Industrial Trainee with Voltas, which at the time was one of India's top 20 companies ranked by sales. He then pursued accounting for a few years and articled with S B Billimoria & Co, one of India's top CA/CPA firms.

Cyrus Patel is responsible for India sales and has been very successful in selling DotSphere, Automated Workflows' Flagship product. Cyrus is also in charge of the Finance for Automated Workflow. In addition, he is a key executive team member helping to drive Automated Workflows' growth.

With more than 20 years of experience in ECM, he is responsible for the company's finances. In addition Cyrus is founder and a non executive director of Patel Microdata who have provide conversion services for a large number of the top 500 commercial organizations in India.

His hobbies are badminton, music, equity analysis and reading.

 

 


Romil Turakhia

Romil Turakhia is Director and Chief Operations Officer at Automated Workflow. Romil is one of the founders of Automated Workflow Group.

Romil has been in the Enterprise Content and Business Process Management industry for over 10 years. Romil is a highly respected technologist with training from industry leaders like IBM, Microsoft, SMA and Schuat. As Chief of Products and Technology for Automated Workflow, he is responsible for the strategy, design and development of all Automated Workflow products. Romil and his team designed Automated Workflows' core product, DotSphere.

Romil is a published author and has co-authored two IBM Red Books for the Content Management Product Suite. He is also frequently asked by IBM's technology groups to provide valuable feedback and technical direction for IBM products. In addition, he was a key success factor in one of the world's largest workflow implementations at Prudential Malaysia.

Before Automated Workflow, Romil was associated with Aditi Technologies/Talisma (formerly NetQuest) and Wipro. Romil has a Bachelor of Engineering from B.M.S. College, Bangalore.
