DotSphere Industry Accelerator (DSIA) is designed to enable any business process involving critical activities similar to insurance underwriting or claims processing. The design of DSIA has 2 key elements – the primary window and a secondary window. Each window can be configured with choice of components that would allow interaction with multiple systems.

DSIA can be used very effectively by configuring in dual screen mode in such a way that primary window always have the underwriter worksheet displayed on one monitor and secondary window having related information on the second monitor. This way the underwriter will not loose focus on the underwriter worksheet but at the same time refer to information from other systems, as required.  

Features of DSIA

  • Dual Screen Functionality - The different components / features that are configured will be displayed in Two Different Screens, if Dual Monitor is Configured on User Machine
  • Configurable UI - Provision is available to configure the screen per role basis and users can assigned to these roles to show the desired screen layout.
  • Configurable Components to Display at the Desired Level - Provision is available to designate different components at Different Tabs and Different Screens.
  • Case Refer - This allows the user to send the case for getting comments on the case for taking appropriate decision
  • Case Reassign - This allows the user to transfer the case to another user (either to handle the load or take appropriate decision based on the complexity of the case).
  • Bulk Transfer - This allows the Manager to transfer the number of cases to different cases. The provision allows manager to select user per case basis.
  • Configurable Worklist - This allows the user to select which columns to display and which columns to remove as and when they want.
  • Staff Feedback by Managers - This allows the managers to provide comment on the user performance per case basis. The managers can view comments on users across different cases also. Users can view the comments assigned to them per cases basis also
  • Manager Worklist to Monitor All the Cases in System - This will list all the cases that the Manager can view the state of each of the case and transfer then as per need basis
  • Provision to Mark the User Absent - For Manager a provision is available which would mark the user absent.
  • Absent User Case List - The Manager can view the cases which are available in the absent user kitty and as per need basis can transfer the case to available users for their completion
  • Aging Case List (With Provision to Different Parameters) - The manager can provide different crietria to list the cases and on need basis can transfer the cases to finish them at the earliest
  • Task Distribution with User Defined Configuration - This allows the Manager to define different criteria (which are termed as rules) and assign these rules to the user and based on the Rules the cases can be assigned to the users for their appropriate actions
  • Provision to show Line of Business Screens - Provision is available which would allow one to configure the URL for any business screen / application
  • Provision to call User Exits (with Enable and Disable Features for the same) - One can configure the different user exit as per user decision or at the global action level.
  • Single Configuration Repository - All the configuration that determine the component loading, screen configuration, user exit configuration is located in one single database. All components and supporting applications refer to this configuration database to provide required functionality
  • Document Viewer - Provision is available which will allow the user to see the scanned images to the case related documents.
  • Decision Audit - This component allows one to record the decision taken by the business users
  • Process Case Sheet - This allows business users to record permanent comments against the case and store in Content Management System
  • Checklist - This allows one to configure the system in such a way that one can display decisions based on certain criterias, which user can enable to display the required decision.
